This snowy egret was a daily friend on Lido Beach when we were on spring vacation. He patiently waited for an extra catch from the Amish fisherman on the shore.
Christy loves to paint watercolor landscapes, flowers, animals, birds, and moments in time that are intimately rendered, focusing on Central New York, Maine and other travels. Many are painted on site, and portray everyday scenes that make you stop and smile; a neighbor’s tulips, pumpkins on the porch, birds in the backyard or a misty morning on the lake. She feels there is an energy in these moments, especially in the early morning or late afternoon light that the transparency and luminosity of watercolors really convey. She loves meeting people who appreciate art and the beautiful scenery our world offers.
